Re: A "Fixed" Sequel Trilogy Story idea...
Sometimes it's so easy to write something better than what they did that it isn't funny at all :) I have thought about a 6 movie story arc (or 3 if LOTR long movies :P ) about Kylo Ren and Rey involving OT characters and Ahsoka but I would need time to translate it into english. Maybe closer to what...

Re: Picard spoileriffic discussion of the actual episodes
Hello peoples! So what could I say about Picard episode 1? Well we have always been told Picard was born in 2305... so he was 74 years old in Nemesis! It make him 94 years old in Picard, when the actor is 79.... Star Trek being Star Trek, peoples lives longer as McCoy showed us in the first episode ...

Re: Star Trek: Picard | NYCC Trailer | CBS All Access
Ok so because of Children of Mars, second 9.11 equivalent in Star Trek History after the Xindi attack, UFP Starfleet decided to follow the step of the USA against synthetic beings instead of the steps of UE Starfleet, Picard couldn't do what Archer did so he resigned in protest....

Re: Star Trek: Picard | NYCC Trailer | CBS All Access
One thing I've really disliked about recent Trek is the ship designs. They seem to range from awful to just plain bizarre. So I have to say, if a TOS-style Romulan ship and the E-D are in this series, that's a very hopeful sign indeed. the problem was, in my opinion, that Starfleet Discovery's desi...

Re: Happy Impeachment Day
Well thank you USA to show me that my country has a healthier political system in which both parties who gave France it's last 4 president, one of them having supported or being the successor of parties that gave 3 other president to the country, can be kicked out by a newcommer. Two parties system ...

Yeah sadly Trump could quote a famous movie character...McAvoy wrote:Not going to go past the Senate unfortunately.
No Republican will want to risk their position to stand up against their own party.

Re: A "Fixed" Sequel Trilogy Story idea...
That's a good episode 7. A lot better than what we got. If as a Luke fan I don't wish to see it fall definitively to the dark side, it's sure, Skywalker has always been tempted by it and had difficulties fighting it. It would also mirror Anakin path... but contradict Lucas original intention of Luke...

Re: Star Trek: Picard | NYCC Trailer | CBS All Access
I would say they tried to add more visible hull plating.... In motion we don't really see it. I didn't noticed it before you told us about. i think so it looks fairly good and reasonably faithful to the original... Yes indeed. We have to remember Galaxy existed as a three different models (2, 4 and...

Incidentally, I wonder if the real MI-5 has such people. Clearly the Russians make a habit of knocking off people they don't like, so they have something like "license to kill" employees. And we know Mossad does such things, or at least has. But does the CIA and MI-5 do it, at all? They d...

Re: Nebula Class Retrospective
On first point I agree, an Ambassador should be a match for every Cardassian ship and it would act better than Excelsior and Miranda against Dominion ship. After all they clearly told us it was able to hold on for a time against 3 Romulan Warbird so it's a good warfighting design. even more than a ...

Re: Nebula Class Retrospective
Well not having Ambasssador could be explained as too old... but we had Excelsior and Miranda so indeed it would have been nice to see it. yeah, the Ambassador was the starfleet flagship only 20 years ago, it should still be a solid spaceframe during the dominion war, a match (or more than a match)...

Re: Nebula Class Retrospective
Or the Ambassador class. Or really any TNG Era ship. Only if TNG had the budget to create more models like they wanted to I always really liked the nebula class, it seemed much more sensible than the galaxy for several reasons. I would also have liked to see some ambassador class ships, perhaps dur...
