Re: Star Trek: Infinite
Well, I wasn't particularly enamoured with this when it came out, having given up after 50 minutes play total. I'll probably go back and give it a whirl again in a few months, when maybe they've ironed stuff out, or got more workshop stuff added. This was the first game in well over a decade I have ...

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Yeah, I had someone tell me a while back that its actually a very smaller amount per item that the site itself gets, and most goes to the producer. But, in any case, for me, the only important things in my life are my universe and Star Trek (and now my cat). I'd rather give back to the community's /...

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Even though I never joined the forum until 2010, I had been aware of, and using DITL for my Star Trek-related projects, since its early days when I was attempting college. Star Trek was what got me into worldbuilding aged 8, and I have been creating my own universe for over three decades now, but al...

Cheers! Yep, I have made noticeable progress in the last year or so, its a marathon not a sprint (I think is the saying).

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Well, it has been a decades-long battle to get anywhere, with breakdowns, meltdowns, and god knows what else. But, a few years ago I was diagnosed with Schizophrenia, and then two years ago with Autism. Today, I have been referred for formal assessments for ADHD and Learning Disabilities, after nume...

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Glad you're feeling better, McAvoy. I haven't been on here in a while, but not a whole lot has been going on. Other than the fact that I'm a grandpa now. My oldest daughter gave birth to a son back in June, so he's 4 months old now. His name is Zander Dean Null, he was 6 lbs., 10 oz. at birth, and ...

Re: Happy Halloween, everyone!
We got egged last night (the building, I'm in a block, and at the back, so my flat was missed). It's raining now though, so that may wash it away.
Given how difficult it was to get hold of eggs around here even a few months ago, it is surprising they could afford to lost them.

Re: Today I Watched...
I watched a film called Alterverse , which is filmed as one of those found-footage things, with interaction with the same couple from an alternate universe. Mostly the "primary" couple are just watching the others, after discovering their cameras can cross realities. I really liked it, but...

Paul. The movie with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Seth Rogan does the voice for the titular charscter Paul. An alien who has been on Earth for a long time and is now free. I have no idea how this movie got past me. Never even heard of it until I saw a video on Tik Tok. Loved that film when I saw it!

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Happy birthday Striker, best wishes to you.
I hope you're feeling better soon Ian.
I had my latest Covid jab last week, managed to get one booked the day after they offered it (got flu jab at the same time).

Re: Star Trek: Infinite
I paid £34.99 (about $43) for the pre-order deluxe edition. The standard is £26.99 (~$33) here, at least on Steam which is where I get all my games. Usually I never pay full price for games, and wait until they are on sale, but I have waited for years for another, decent, Star Trek-based grand strat...
