Re: Yellow snow warning

Officially British traffic lights go Green, Amber, Red. There used to be a public information film about not being an "Amber Gambler", in other words only Green means go, everything else means stop.

Re: Yellow snow warning

As for terrorism, we have threat levels:

Threat levels
There are 5 levels of threat:

low - an attack is highly unlikely
moderate - an attack is possible but not likely
substantial - an attack is likely
severe - an attack is highly likely
critical - an attack is highly likely in the near future

Re: Yellow snow warning

They're weather warnings. They may also be used for terrorism, but I think that's different scale. Here's a guide for weather: https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/binaries/content/gallery/metofficegovuk/images/guide/warnings/warning-matrix.jpg So it goes Yellow, Amber and then Red. That kinda made sense as...

Re: Yellow snow warning

I'm pretty sure we have Amber, Yellow and Red, although possibly in a different order.

Infections can be difficult things even in this day and age. Once they turn into sepsis it is a difficult battle. They can never be sure of the outcome, err on the side of caution and see her when you can. Even as you hope for the best.

My thoughts are with you.

Yellow snow warning

Actual news headline.

“UK weather: Snow on the way with yellow warning for large parts of England and Wales“

I wish the would come up with another name for it.

Re: Today I Watched...

So over the last few days I've been watching season 1 of "Lost in Space", the new version. I'm pretty impressed with the updated story line. The robot is cool and other worldly. His connection to Will is will done, and the freaky ass "Doctor Smith" is a big upgrade on the origina...

Re: Today I Watched...

On my list.

I saw "Poor Things" the other day. I can't say I was impressed. It is supper odd, which can be good, but this just kinda does things to be very odd.
