I hate it when I can guess the twist from the very first time I see the trailer - this happened to me with The Village and Shutter Island.

I just checked, and the Tim Burton movie was filmed at Pinewood Studios in England, which would explain why they were driving on the left. Batman is obviously intended to be in the US, so they were probably just hoping you wouldn't notice.
