Re: A new random thread

Well I may not be posting much (read at all) soon. I get to choose between spending the next few years to life in prison and simultaneously emotionally crippling or at leat offending everyone I care about, or taking every moral principal I've ever believed and shoving those right up my ass. Lfie is ...

Re: A new random thread

Neymar was their entire offensive creator, and Silva has been the backbone of the defense. without those two you get sloppy, lazy, unorganized defense, and a simple lack of any bite on offense.

Re: Dean Devlin On His Return To Stargate

Makes me a little nervous. I liked the TV shows and the way they took the Universe, Devlin didn't. So this "Reboot" feels like a way for him to turn Stargate back into what he wanted it to be from the beginning by just overwriting anything he didn't like.

Re: Orientation in space?

It's bee mentioned already, but the answer is acceleration. If your ship isn't accelerating and your just coasting along at a constant speed then you're right, deck orientation doesn't matter. If however the ship is accelerating this is like creating an artificial gravity field in the direction anti...

Re: Color War Set Up

As one of my old teachers used to say: the only stupid question is the one you don't ask. so to answer the questions: yes your orders will be of the form: move army x into fleet y. move fleet y to planet z. (optional: by route of planet a, b, c, d, ...). offload troops on planet z. Essentially. What...

So I'm not sure what's going on, but I haven't received anything from anyone. I don't know if you guys are lost trying to plan your moves, unable to decipher the rules, or just don't have time...

Re: Color War Set Up

There's no inter-player diplomacy. There's a very weak diplomacy format for the non-aligned planets trying to convince them to be on your side or to at least not be on your opponents, but that is mostly just important for supply lines and all of that is handled with me.

Re: Cool Picture Thread

He's inside the Area. Keepers can use their hands inside the larger of the two boxes around the goal. True it wasn't the best play in the world and he really needed to get the ball when he came out to play it, but sitting in the goal when the ball is that close isn't really an option either. Big Kud...

Sent one. Unlike the SIM i'm not going to continually update it, so each of you will have to figure out a way to mark stuff on there as you learn it/it changes.

Color War Set Up

So I've randomly assigned each player to the Blue, Green, or Red Faction; hence the name Color War. This first iteration of the game is going to be fairly limited, but will lay the groundwork for more sophisticated systems such as a WWII simulation, or Dominion War, or anything else. So first up: th...

Re: Tactical War Simulation

Alright Finals are over and I'm basically set to get this thing rolling. I'll be posting a new topic shortly that will have the rules, and set up for this first exercise. I've decided to try this with a 3 player system so Sonic, Stitch, and Spocky will be playing this go round. What I'll need from y...
