Re: Funny moments in Trek
Oh I forgot about that one! That was a cracker. The other one that killed me was when the Vulcan ran past home but didn't touch the plate and sat down in the dugout. Didn't someone shout out "What should I do?" to which Worf replies "You must find him and kill him!". Classic

Which actor/tress is the Biggest Star Trek whore? :)
No offence intended, just a lighthearted question about the actors and actresses who've frequented all forms of trek over the years :) Who has the most air time as a character? surely Colm Meany as O'Brien maybe followed by Michael Dorn as Worf (don't forget the TOS film he was in too!) How about di...

Re: Funny moments in Trek
They've been mentioned before but one of my favourite species for light entertainment are the Ferengi. For a race that were originally supposed to be the Fed's new early TNG era menacing arch enemies (which quickly dried up when everyone realised they were about as scary as a plateful of tube grubs ...

Re: Worst Starfleet Captains...
How about Captain Harriman of the Enterprise-B? While Janeway and Ransom and Tracey and the like often make really bad decisions, at least they saw a way forward and took it. Harriman is probably the only captain I've ever seen who hit a situation and basically just didn't know what to do. He's jus...

Re: Worst Starfleet Captains...
How about Chief O'Brien's mate, Captain Benjamin Maxwell (the evil warden guy from Shawshank Redemption)? Sure, the Cardys always have it coming to them but he did murder over 600 of them in cold blood because he *suspected* them of smuggling weapons. That was of course, when the Cardy's looked crap...

How many hours Trek do you watch a week?
I'm curious to know how many hours you all watch of Trek, a week? Fortunately, the Mrs is into it as well so probably through lack of anything better on and having a digital TV recorder, we tend to watch at the very least 7 hours a week. Is that sad? :) Currently, it's between DS9 and TNG (on Sky TV...

Re: Star Trek XI
Surely they'll have throw some cliches in though? I'm sure they'll have to include one or two nods to the past (or the future, if you will) like a few 'I'm a doctor not a mechanic Jim' or a 'she cannae tek nae more Captain' etc etc. You know, tired old ST cliches that you don't need to be a Trekker ...

Re: Star Trek XI
So what do we all hope for with movie number eleven then? What would we all like to see in it? I never had so big a problem with Enterprise so I'm going to be really curious to see if they include any continuity from ENT into the movie. Any mentions of Archer or the Xindi attack? Maybe the NX01 in t...
