Re: Skype Troubles

I Hensley stopped using after MS acquired it. Simply because I don't use windows and MS have a habit of endiing support for any non-windows platform (as well as anything non current in windows such office ending support for XP and Vista).... I'd probably recommend Google chat/voice (with voice you c...

Re: Some assistance...

In my experience fragmentation doesn't cause that huge of an issue..... what you should do is go to yor start menu and select run, type in msconfig, go to startup and disable everything that doesn't need to start, for example MS Office doesn't need to start on boot.... This is th typical cause of sl...

Re: Weird Forum Issue

what you could try doing is establishing a vpn with your home computer and browsing that way...... My guess is they have a proxy at work through which everything goes so they can monitor what their employees do (it's actually a common place policy). a VPN would disallow that, but.... they might not ...

I can see the convenience, but honestly I don't like the idea of everything and I mean everything being stored at one company...... honestly though..... I can see this catching on but it's not for me

Re: Missing 83 GB of memory

first off are you talking total space or free space/used space? what would help is opening up my computer and then for each drive do the following: right click on a drive and select properties and pressing the prtscn (print screen) key then open up paint and go to edit->paste and save, and ten show ...

travel Pod nitpick

In the description of the travel pod you have this.... Many did complain bitterly about the lack of seating, but Starfleet refused to give in to the demand for a modification program, pointing out that the average journey length for a travel pod trip was less than ten minutes. yet clearly in this pi...

In the weekly poll area the poll wont highlight to show what option you tick i you have JavaScript disabled, would it be possible to add a no-script area that would degrade to a standard form?

Re: Thx for fixing

Was one of the first things I had tried, the snow itself is working properly but when you click around the top nav buttons without JS blocked its causing the menu buttons to mess up weirdly, blocking JS on the site solves the issue so not a show stopper

Re: Thx for fixing

Oh btw this reminds me that if anyone else is having trouble with the snow causing the nav menu's to seriously mess up, just go into your browser preferences and block JavaScript on DITL (I think it's just a Chrome issue though, there is definitely no issue under Firefox or Opera)
