The shortest time that I've seen it happen is just a few seconds after start up (after connecting to the internet and everything, it would just reboot on its own), and the longest was nine full hours after the last problem. I'm on a new monitor right now, yet the problem happened with it.

My computer isn't a Dell. Its an:

AMD Athlon(TM) XP 2600+
2.00 GHz, 512 MB of RAM

I've already did a virus scan and nothing was found.

Sometimes the monitor shuts off on its own like it's entering hybernation, sometimes the computer just restarts on its own, and sometimes the computer freezes and requires a restart. Any help guys?

I have a Matrox Millennium 6400 video card, and I installed the new drivers on today.
