Re: The Rotten Pumpkin-Faced Manchild is OUT!!!
Looks like he is firing anyone who doesn't agree with him now. Hasn't he been doing that all along? Though, I do agree it seems much more rampant these days. Also looks like his supporters are going to Parlor since they don't like it when Facebook or Twitter tell them they are sharing or saying fak...

Re: The Rotten Pumpkin-Faced Manchild is OUT!!!
There are reports coming out that, in his grief over losing the election, Trump is gorging himself on McDonalds and other fast food. So much that the White House cleaning staff have to light scented candles all over the place to get rid of the smell. It'll be interesting to see if he even makes it t...

Re: The Rotten Pumpkin-Faced Manchild is OUT!!!
By 2024, Trump will likely be in prison somewhere, if he's even still alive (maybe his covid infection will flare up again, and this time he won't have access to immediate medical care and experimental drugs), and a similar fate awaits his spawn. But, there are a plenty of others already lining up f...

Re: Today I Watched...
One of a number of shows I've been watching.
Just finished Season 3's "The Game" where Sheppard and McKay find out the SimCity/Age of Empires-like game they've been playing is real.

Re: Today I Watched...
Eragon (2006) I hadn't seen this since it was in theaters. I enjoyed it, but I just felt no pressing need to re-watch it since then. Much the same with the book. Read it once, hadn't felt the urge to read the others. Maybe I'll read it again at some point. It was enjoyable this time, despite some l...

Star Trek 40th Anniversary Tribute
Featuring the theme from "The Inner Light". It also works well as a tribute to the Prime Universe. I find myself getting teary-eyed whenever I watch this.

Re: Today I Watched...
Today, I watched World Trade Center (2006). About the 9/11 terrorist attacks, of course, but with a focus on two Port Authority Police Officers (played by Nicolas Cage and Michael Pena) who get trapped in the rubble of the towers after they fall and their respective families. Very well done, I thoug...

Re: Trump says he and first lady have tested positive for the coronavirus
It was bound to happen sooner or later.
Actually, I'm surprised he's so forthcoming about it. I thought for sure that if he was ever tested positively positive, he would try to keep it secret for fear of appearing weak to his fan club.

Re: Today I Watched...
Earlier today (really early...midnight to 2 am), I watched From Here to Eternity (1953) starring Burt Lancaster and Montgomery Clift. Set on an army base in Hawaii, near Pearl Harbor, in the days leading up to the Japanese attack, the story follows two romances, one of them involving a marine (Rober...

Re: More Giant Orange Baby Ridiculousness
I imagine if Trump does manage to win a second term, it will be cut short due to deteriorating health--mental as much as physical. His eating habits and general disposition can be enough to lead to a heart attack. That is, if he doesn't manage to catch virus first.

Re: Today I Watched...
Fantastic Four (2005) This was my first time watching it, as, aside from Reeves' Superman movies, I didn't really get into comic book movies until Guardians of the Galaxy. I've been spending the last few years catching up. I really enjoyed this film. The drama and humor are well balanced, just as i...
