Re: The Man from Where?
I hope this is awesome. Just because it was one of my favorite TV series growing up (no I'm not old enough to have seen them live... had to wait for TVLand reruns).

Re: Fantastic Four | Official Trailer
I like the casting group for this (even though Johnie is black... I just hope it won't turn into "I'm the black guy" like Robocop's change). All of them seem to be able to play their roll. And hopefully any humor will be genuine, not childish like the previous attempts.

Heard about this yesterday when out with friends. Instead of doing what we had planned, we went and watched a bunch of his movies on Netflix. He will be missed.

Considering the dwindling supply of taste in modernizing culture... Sharknado.
On a more serious note, I'd love to say Star Trek. Perhaps the Planet of the Apes series will hold a similar spot to the originals.

Re: Merc with a Mouth
I choose to put the Origins version of Deadpool down to the fact that he wasn't "done" yet, wasn't completed, wasn't yet genetically stable, or whatever. I know there's no reason to believe that inherent in the movie, but I have to believe something of the sort in order to keep my head in...

This an Antman are going to make them re evaluate their position on comic book movies. Except Antman is Marvel and one stinker won't budge their numbers much. This is DC, who has had reducingly popular films since the Batman Begins. Since the Dark Knight actually. I start with Begins because in hin...

I found a quote from the Happening. Bear in mind, this is a science teacher talking... "Science will come up with some reason to put in the books, but in the end it'll be just a theory. I mean, we will fail to acknowledge that there are forces at work beyond our understanding." Yeah. That...

Mostly 1... I'm almost not even sure what to ask to make more sense of things...
Like, do we just send you where we want to go and what route we want to take over the planets?
Also are we able to rearrange our fleets or are they pretty much set?

The premise of DoFP is that the first Sentinel robots were launched in the 1970s. No. Sentinels were first released in modern time, the research started in the 60s-70s. The ones in 1970 were a direct result of the interference by Wolverine and company. That was a change from the original timeline (...

I've played WoT for a while. It does have its issues, but it is fun. My problem with WT ground forces is that currently there is a huge issue with foliage. Turn it on low settings and it is easier to spot enemies. Its like a built in cheat. WoT had solved this by having a hilariously messed up (logi...

That makes no sense to me in terms of how predator/prey relationships actually work. But whatever, it didn't bother me at the time. It was less predator/prey, more... whatever you would describe two warring tribes of humans in a single environment, one destructive, the other trying to look out for ...
