Just finashed our first Star Trek role play mission and it went very well. It was one published in White Dwarf called Starfall. Klingons trying to cause disruption on a federation colony in the organian imposed neutral sector. Players took to it like ducks to water, though with them having had exper...

I know what you're saying deep and I do think they would end up no. 3 in the pecking order but I'd really like to see the new ship they have, their others looked so stylish , its bound to be good :)

Sweet, thanks for the offer. I'll not fill a forum with my ideas but rather PM you or some of the guys with basics of my stuff and let you critique. Its not gonna happen for a couple of weeks yet but I'd obviously appreciate the help.

No matter whether they become matter or energy the containment field will hold them for proper analysis at a leisurely and methodical pace. Also the full scrutiny of the Borg will leave no stone un-turned.

I place my faith in the Borg.

They may be able to turn into fire/ fog whatever they want but they can't beat a forcefield. Then the Borg can study them at their leisure with plenty of cubes acting as a defence force around the main ships holding the field., allowing leisurely disection

Trek roleplay game ideas.

I'm going to be running the old Star Trek roleplay game (1984 vintage) in the near future for a group of friends and have a couple of short stories set up but would like to get a few more ideas or situations to include. They're familiar with the trek universe in varying degrees but not really in dep...

I suppose you're right there, barring the use of exotic means of travel (some thing like the slingshot thingy Voyager used to cross 10k LY) I'd imagine the Borg would get spotted and the founders would leg it again. Ah well back to the old slow methodical sweep through the galaxy picking up trinkets...

The Kilngons would win I think, just too many ships and trained personnel for the C/B to keep up with in the long game. Maybe the Klingons went a bit "strange" between TOS and TNG because they saw that the captains who got the most glory were the ones who rushed in and claimed the victorie...

Excellent point, I'd forgotten about their ability to trick sensors. Ah well looks like if assimilation fails its carpet bombing of the planet then

Perhaps assimilation of the section 31 information (or bashir for that matter) would give them the information they need to adapt their techiniques enough and amybe to deploy in the same fashion they did with the 8472 probes and detonate it over the founders planet and make it work on them while in ...

I do agree that at present they're lagging behind the larger fleets but with their industrial capacity and obvious know how, not to mention some shadow tech I sure they managed to "aquire" they could be one of the prominant races again. Granted most other races have access to advanced tech...

Thanks, I've been meaning to join for a while just haven't gotten around to it yet. Main site is great. It would be nice to see what would happen to the great link v's hive mind but in the end I think the single mindedness of the Borg would wear down the founders though the ability of the founders t...

I agree with your points about them but with the right leadership they could be great though the Centari leadership seems to be rather fractous, besides their obsession with the Narn has blinded them.
