Looks fantastic. The music brings me right back to my youth.

You get a close up of one a crate at one stage and it says Roswell New Mexico on it. I really hope they don't try to bring aliens into some way - then again the Holy Grail, Ark of the Covenant aren't especially logical either.

Tom Baker's doctor would be the best I reckon, if he showed up I'd be off in a heartbeat - assuming we didn't arrive back years after we'd left or some such stuff and I was declared dead, then I'd have to explain where I was, like that Darwin fella who "died" but turned up after all his de...

The surrounding space compressing the effect sounds good otherwise you'd imagine that with all the traffic into the sol system (or other centre of galactic commerce or command) for centuries would have made some noticeable effect that someone would spot - short of yer one having to kill herself to p...

Well maybe they kept all the old ships on and sent them to the front "sure thing mr President - we just sent 100 ships to sector abcd to hold the line" rather than admit that all the resources of the past 50 years allocated to the fleet were paying off Kirk's paternity law suits :)

Consider Phlebas was the first one and does get a mention every now and then in others but nothing major so not essential to start with. The Player of Games and The Use of Weapons are prob my favourites though. I'd avoid Inversions as a first read because you'll quite probably get lost and decide to...

Maybe its a hangover from the Vulcans, it said in FC that they weren't interestd in humans or earth cause we were too primitive and they insisted that when the Fed was founded that their rule of non interference be kept on.

moya from Farscape, looked nice but wasn't worth spit as far as I'm concerned - her offspring (Talin I think) was a great little ship, armed to the teeth from what I remember.

The probe may decide to hang around after its "survey" of Earth to try and figure out what happened to its buddies and may even decide to try other worlds they visited in the past. Surely it would be in the best interests of the other powers to help the Federation get the alien probe movin...
