Re: Shatner confirms exit from Star Trek permanently
I can't imagine how it would be possible, in the original timeline he is now dead, the kelvin timeline must understand whether or not is dead ...

Re: "The Federation Doesn't Decide Which Species Lives or Di
As the video points out, the Federation refused to become involved in the Klingon civil war specifically because it only affected the Klingons and so was an "internal" matter. They don't specifically invoke the PD, but it seems to be the same non-interference stuff they always talk about....

Re: Picard spoileriffic discussion of the actual episodes
my idea to make it more acceptable : it works only one time and for a limited transported mass (a few people only) partially prevents it from becoming overpowered.. you can answer me "what prevents the Borg from building 10,000 of them ..." yes I know, you can invent some technobabble obvi...

Re: "The Federation Doesn't Decide Which Species Lives or Di
Indeed. Why wouldn't the Romulans have been left to die? Isn't that "the natural order" of things? I would like to understand what the limits of the prime directive really are. The romulus supernova in the first instance appears to be a natural event and a problem within the Romulan empir...

i agree with you (except the acid spit...d'oh...)
not very good...far from the worst of trek (yeah...i'm speaking of you, Sub Rosa)
it could have been far worse....and it could still be!

Re: Star Trek: Picard | NYCC Trailer | CBS All Access
Ok so because of Children of Mars, second 9.11 equivalent in Star Trek History after the Xindi attack, UFP Starfleet decided to follow the step of the USA against synthetic beings instead of the steps of UE Starfleet, Picard couldn't do what Archer did so he resigned in protest.... so in fact they ...

Re: Star Trek: Picard | NYCC Trailer | CBS All Access
One thing I've really disliked about recent Trek is the ship designs. They seem to range from awful to just plain bizarre. So I have to say, if a TOS-style Romulan ship and the E-D are in this series, that's a very hopeful sign indeed. the problem was, in my opinion, that Starfleet Discovery's desi...

Re: Star Trek: Picard | NYCC Trailer | CBS All Access
Flashback, I'd imagine. Notice they've changed the design for... whatever reason. Some sort of rim at the bottom of the neck, and stripes across the neck. Detailing added at the front of the pylons. Looks like they're redesigned the whole surface. Click to embiggen. https://thumbs2.imgbox.com/ea/ac...

they fixed many continuity issue in that season, i would have loved a fifth season.McAvoy wrote:
I do wish they did a fifth season because even though the fourth season was pretty much a mini arc after another at least they were well written.

Re: Picard rumour/speculation
One rumour I've heard is even worse - that this series will see the Federation disintegrate completely. The idea being to make the series act as back-story to Discovery, where the far future Discovery is now in doesn't have the Federation. if that's the case, I'll get out of it. I tolerated discove...
