Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Thanks, guys. The good news is we had home owner's insurance which covers fire, and in the case of a natural disaster it's an automatic max out on our home's value as well as the personal property inside. We're also looking for a rental in the Butte County area that's reasonably close to the Walmart...

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Well I'm a bit bummed. My house got burned down here in Paradise, CA. But then so did 95% of the population of Paradise. The Camp Fire (yes that's what it's called) is now the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California history, with @ 150,000 acres burned so far, and 45% contained, 68 con...

I also noticed he walks a lot like John Wayne, with a sort of swagger and a bit of a lean to one side. Probably from the aforementioned back issues. Or he just wants to be a cowboy.

Actual, uncorrected answers from a Catholic school theology exam: 1. IN THE FIRST BOOK OF THE BIBLE, GUINESSIS. GOD GOT TIRED OF CREATING THE WORLD SO HE TOOK THE SABBATH OFF. 2. ADAM AND EVE WERE CREATED FROM AN APPLE TREE. NOAH'S WIFE WAS JOAN OF ARK. NOAH BUILT AND ARK AND THE ANIMALS CAME ON IN...

Re: Bond Movie idea
Bond should at the very least be in his mid to late 30's. This would give him the time to develop his skills to the point where we see him in the movies. It's also fairly young enough for him to do high risk missions. There is a reason why the military and pro sports do not have many fully active o...

Re: Tom Clancy's 'Jack Ryan' - Season 1 Trailer (2018)
Instead of turning Ryan into Clark, they should have gone with Jack Ryan Jr., it would have made more sense and been up to date. I think the most excitement Ryan Sr. got in the books was saving Chuck and Di from the IRA.

Looks like they're using the same animation style they used in their Tron: Uprising series. I'm sure there will be toys and games for this clogging the aisles of Walmart or Target.

Terri Farrell is aging incredibly well. She still looks great. Renee Auberjonois isn't looking too bad, either.Nutso wrote:

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
So sorry about your mom, McAvoy. I hope things work out. I'm now working at Walmart unloading trucks in the backroom and taking freight out to the floor to be put on shelves. I've lost almost 10 pounds from the physical work, which is a good thing. The air quality here where I live is horrendous fro...
