First Time Seeing This Series

I've never seen this series before and finally got around to watching it on Netflix. And although I liked it better then Voyager, I probably will not be watching it again. Just did not do it for me. The only episodes I truly would want to watch again are the Mirror Universe two-parter. Loved the way...

Shazam

I saw the trailer for this when I saw Aquaman. And it really seems like it is targeted for kids. At least that was my impression from what I saw.

I saw this today. Not as good as Wonder Woman, but I enjoyed it.

Re: Theory About Why Marvel Movies Work and DC Movies Don't

The Marvel movie universe may have had a far better run then the DC movie franchise. But one thing you have to give DC credit for is Wonder Woman, the first female comic book superhero to be given her own title role. And not only was it a good movie, it did quite well at the box office. Off the top ...

Most Iconic TV Openings

I was watching a episode of The Twilight Zone and as I was watching the opening sequence with it's music, it got me thinking, what are the most iconic TV opening sequences of all-time. So I made a list, just off the top of my head in no particular order. Twilight Zone Get Smart The Simpsons The Andy...

Re: In a shocking upset .....

One of Moore's accusers had her house burned down under suspicious and mysterious circumstances. But others have donated over $150,000 to help her rebuild.

Re: My ten favourite films of 2017

I did not see too many movies last year, maybe 6-8 more if you include HBO. But my top ten list in no particular order: Lego Batman Movie Beauty and the Beast Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales Wonder Woman Justice League Atomic Blonde The Lego Ninjago Movie D...

Re: In a shocking upset .....

As far as I know, Moore has yet to concede. I believe the state is considering a investigation into voter fraud because some democratic staffer made a off-the-cuff joke about out of state voters.

Re: The Last Jedi - spoileriffic thread

Never heard that the Vice-Admiral was a lesbian. But it does explain the long, meaningful look she and Leia had when Leia got on the shuttle. Guess Han Solo ruined the Princess for other men.

Re: The Last Jedi - spoileriffic thread

Of the first trilogy, Return of the Jedi was my favorite. I saw all three in the theater, but that was the only one I truly remember as I saw it for my birthday.

Re: The Last Jedi - spoileriffic thread

I just saw it today, on IMAX (which I cannot tell the difference and does not impress me...waste of six dollars), and I enjoyed it. Space Leia did bug me a bit, even if I knew something like that was going to happen when the bridge got blown into space. The other things that people here have noticed...

Re: JUSTICE LEAGUE - Official Heroes Trailer

I chuckled a bit when Batman told Alfred to bring out the big gun, and Lois Lane steps out of the car. Should have saw it coming.

But I did see the whole Wayne saving the farm scene was going to happen. Even the "I bought the bank" line.

Re: The (second) trial of Captain Picard

Why would they have a court-martial in the first place? Would they not have a inquiry to determine whether or not he did something wrong that would warrant a court-martial?
