Re: The Dark Knight Rises

The DC Universe is not real good at the credible disguises. Superman's disguise was a pair of regular glasses. A lot of their hero types just wore small around-the-eyes mask... no better than sunglasses... Green Arrow being one of those. In fact, Mike Grell addressed the issue in the first ongoing ...

Re: Long voyages

Stitch, I think the Runabout would be more spacious - especially for a party, or even just to have enough room to get away from everyone...

Long voyages

Ok, just for kicks and grins, which smaller trek vessel would you use to take a long trip - say back to earth or something... By smaller, I mean more or less suport ships - Yachts, shuttles, runabouts... I'm not talking about taking it into a combat situation, just for creature comforts. Me, I think...

Re: Sky Fall (Bond)

I really enjoyed it. I loved Pierce Brosnan as Bond, but Daniel Craig is growing on me. I'm enjoying this back to basics approach, with less gadgets and such.

Re: Empire Strikes Back Deleted Scene

I think it would have been better to keep it in...adds a little more edge to the relationship between Han and Leia. Notches up the friction and tension just a tad more. I like it a LOT!

Where are they now?

The economy's been tough on everyone these days. Many of us have had to resort to multiple jobs. From the "Where are they now?" department, several years after the filming of Star Trek: Generations, the set piece who played the part of the Enterprise Warp Core has recently been spotted wor...

Re: Hollywood To Ruin Yet More Childhood Memories

I'm waiting for a Silverhawks and Thundercats live action movie. I mean, why not? They've done GI Joe, Transformers, Flintstones, Smurfs, Richie Rich, Yogi Bear, and Scooby Doo. Hell, they even made movies of board games! Remember Clue, and now Battleship. Some of you comic geeks from way back may r...

Re: Looking for a larger size pic

I have another one - the same pic basically, of the Enterprise encountering a strange blue phone booth...My friend who picked up the pics, didn't recognize either the Boston or the Tardis. I almost wet myself when I saw them. I have the large version of the Tardis encounter...

Looking for a larger size pic

Recently, a friend of mine stumbled across a picture online of the refit Enterprise meeting up with the guitar ship from the Boston album covers. He didn't, for whatever reason click on the picture to get the large one. I've been trying unsuccessfully for weeks now to try and find it. Can anyone hel...

Re: Hollywood To Ruin Yet More Childhood Memories

I'm trembling in fear at the possibility of a Jetson's movie. So far, it hasn't happened, but at the rate they're going - well...hell, they did movies of the Flintstones, Scooby Doo, the Smurfs (Why in the world would you want to do that?), and now Yogi. Why not the Jetsons? Man, I hope they don't.

Re: Ask a character a question

I'd like to ask ANY of the doctors - all this time - uncountable years - hurtling through time and space - why can't you fix the damn chameleon circuit? You can change the control room, add and drop rooms, fix whatever gets broken in each episode, but you still can't figure out how to fix that circu...
