YATI : A big problem for Voyager is that they can't communicate with the planet. But they are able to slow transmissions from the planet down and listen to them, so why can't they speed their own messages up?
Great Moment : Gotana-Retx sitting in the captain's ready room singing his little song about Voyager.
Body Count : Many generations of people on the planet below and one astronaut from the planet whilst on Voyager.
Factoid : Obi Ndefo also played Drex in DS9 episode "The Way of the Warrior"
Quote : "Our ignorant ancestors believed every star was a deity. You taught me how foolish that was. 'Superstition,' you called it." - the Protector to the Cleric

Plotline

When Voyager is trapped in orbit of a planet located within a tachyon field, the ship has a chance to observe cultural evolution progressing at a fantastically accelerated rate. Unfortunately, their presence is harming the planet and altering the entire course of the civilization.
