The particle fountain seen in this episode appears to be a natural phenomenon, whereas the last time we saw something of that name it was a machine used in some sort of orbital mining.
Great Moment :
Tom Paris freaking out at B'Elanna in the corridor when she threatens to tell the Captain about his actions. Another great performance by Robert Duncan McNeil.

Plotline

When Tom Paris buys a shuttle from a junkyard dealer, the ships neural interface has some unexpected side effects on him, while the craft itself almost seems to have a mind of its own...
