Ransom claim's that 10 isograms of the aliens will boost the engines by 0.03% and yet later he claims that they've use it to go 10,000 light years in two weeks. Even flat out that's in excess of warp 9.9999, far more than a 0.03% increase.

Seeing the Equinox for the first time.

We see one Equinox crew member killed by the aliens and one alien killed by the Equinox crew, we also here of four more crew being killed.
Factoid :
The USS Equinox ship design is based on that of the Defiant Pathfinder seen in the DS9 Technical Manual. It was created by Rich Sternbach.

Plotline

Voyager picks up a distress call from the USS Equinox, a small Federation starship which was also kidnapped by the caretaker. But their joy soon turns to shock when they realize the lengths to which the crew of the Equinox are prepared to go in order to get home.
