Series : The Next Generation Rating : 4
Disc No : 5.4 Episode : 114
First Aired : 24 Feb 1992 Stardate : 45571.2
Director : David Livingston Year : 2368
Writers : Maurice Hurley, Paul Reuben Season : 5
Guest Cast :
Colm Meaney as Miles Edward O'Brien
Guy Vardaman as Darien Wallace
Majel Barrett as Computer Voice
Michelle Forbes as Ro Laren
Rosalind Chao as Keiko O'Brien
Ryan Reid as Transporter Technician
YATI : Gee, it sure would have been useful to use the computer to disable the terrorist's phasers in this episode the way it did in "A Matter of Time", wouldn't it?

Riker tells Picard that Data, O'Brien and Troi are trying to take over the ship. But Riker was unconcious when Troi did her bit of the taking over, so how did he know about her?

Great Moment : I like Troi, and it's nice to see her with a tougher edge here.
Body Count : Zero?
Factoid : This episode was originally meant to be a cheap one which only used a couple of sets. The addition of the shuttle crash and phaser fight made it one of the most expensive of the season.
Quote : "To die defending his ship is the hope of every Klingon." - Worf to the alien in Data

Plotline

Troi, O'Brien and Data are possessed by the personalities of three disembodied criminals from a prison moon. The ruthless trio are determined to free the rest of the inmates using the Enterprise crew as hosts.
