A sabotaged shuttlecraft hurls Quark, Rom and Nog into 1947 Earth, where they crash in Roswell. After initial communication difficulties, Quark offers to sell advanced technology to the Humans - hoping to dominate the world and eventually give warp drive to the Ferengi well before most other Alpha Quadrant powers. But another familiar face came along for the ride, and he has other ideas.
