At the end of the episode they open an airlock and blow the telepathic cloud out of the door. So... the energy cloud is blown about by the wind? Does this make sense?

Plotline

When a Klingon vessel returning from the Gamma Quadrant explodes, only one of the crew is beamed onto DS9. He lives only seconds, but with his death the station crew begin behaving very peculiarly.
