Title : Cease Fire Rating : 4
Writers : Chris Black Year : 2152
Review : I've seen it at least a dozen times and Cease Fire actually does great at setting the catalyst for the founding of the Federation, if only in a small part. What really pissed me off is Soval's attitude towards T'Pol when he confronted her about staying on Enterprise, and she rightfully argued that she needed to speak up during the incident at Paraagan II, and he actually had the NERVE to ask her, "you thought you knew better than the high command?" Uh, actually she should Soval, doesn't the phrase, "I was actually THERE, YOU WERE NOT!" mean anything to you?! Arrogant little smarta**! Still, the storyline was actually good and it was nice to see the Andorians and the Vulcans actually playing nice at the end of the episode - especially with Enterprise standing literally in the middle of their fleets! Nice to know that the Humans actually don't take **** from anyone anymore, if only because they're neutral with ALL parties! I'll give it a 4 out of 5!

Review : I have to admit, as a diehard scifi fan (that includes both Star Trek AND Star Wars), this one was more enjoyable than the rest, but not quite my favorite, as to the likes of First Contact and Nemesis. But this is a lot better than most attempts. As the creator of this site said, I like the culture clash between the crew and the whole city. There is a lot of things which seem very .... alien .... to them, but yet are pretty standard to the populace around them. The Whale Probe was certainly menacing enough and yet .... understandable as it was only doing its job, thinking there is no wrong in that. What really got me in tears was the ending, where the crew thinks they are going to the new Excelsior for their new command ..... only to reveal the new Enterprise-A behind it. That to me truly was special and I will NEVER EVER forget it. 5 out of 5.

Review : Well I have to admit I loved seeing this movie. I didn't like the fact that the Enterprise-E wasn't even in the movie from 1:11:33 ALL THE WAY TO 1:31:44. That's 20 minutes that we could've seen the Enterprise struting new stuff that we hadn't even seen before. Still, it actually makes sense as all the Enterprise did was go to the edge of the Briar Patch, warn Starfleet of the plot, then come back to rescue the crew. Not much going on there that you could do. I just like seeing the Enterprise strut stuff and still, at least it didn't end up like Star Trek 4 where we didn't even HAVE an Enterprise at all! (Unless you count the NCC-1701 footage, the A and the CVN-65 aircraft carrier, and even then it wasn't the Enterprise! Har har) Still, all in all a good film to get distracted by and it makes for a nice time passer if you're bored. 4 out of 5.
Title : Star Trek Beyond Rating : 5
Writers : Doug Jung, Simon Pegg Year : 2263
Review : Personally, I never saw Star Trek Beyond until AFTER it came out on DVD .... and I have to say that I liked it. Call me an action guy, but I didn't like the fact that the Enterprise didn't even fire ONE single shot against the USS Vengeance in Into Darkness. Yes she would have been toast if she did, but so what?! You see the Enterprise fire everything she got in this one and it STILL didn't make a damn bit of difference. But at least this time the Enterprise literally went out guns blazing and didn't just stand around and let herself get hit like she did in Into Darkness, which is the point that Kirk just proves here. It serves to show that when you are down that road that you know there's no way out, you don't just accept it if you think there's a way out. You just don't. I liked seeing Starbase Yorktown and I have to agree with its size. I refuse to believe that the prime Starfleet couldn't build something like that, when they've had vehicles and bases like the Enterprise-D and Starbase 74 for years. However, I must accept that maybe they didn't build stuff like Yorktown for a reason, whether it be a real life reason or not. I must agree with Graham that I didn't like seeing Jaylah all that much. Yes she is a good character, but for what it was worth, I could have easily introduced a character named Mr. Estes (excuse my ego haha), and given him some lines like "Im the chief of security," and it would not have made much difference in the movie either. I half expected to see the Franklin become an old NX class like the 22nd century Enterprise but meh, I like seeing new ships in movies like Beyond, and I just like the movie overall despite its subtle, if minor, flaws. Finally, I did NOT like how they did the theme music for the end credits differently. You could have done the music EXACTLY like it was in 2009 and Into Darkness, and it would have made the end credits so much better. I like watching the end credits for the music at the end, but now .... *shrugs* there's just no point anymore. Oh well, hopefully they will fix that mistake in the next one. 5 out of 5.
